I grew up knowing I wanted to do something with my hands and my heart — not just sit at a desk. When my husband and I moved to Granbury, we started building Green Star Grove from the ground up: a small farm with pasture-raised chickens, a sourdough practice, and a farmers market booth that has become one of my favorite things about every other Saturday.
When our son was born, I threw myself into researching baby development the same way I research everything — obsessively, skeptically, and with a pretty low tolerance for vague advice. I read the actual science. I tried the activities. I figured out what was worth doing and what was just noise. Then I turned all of it into Play on Purpose: Baby's First Year, because I genuinely believe every parent deserves the information I had to dig for.
I also work as a content creator and brand ambassador for Copper Pearl, which I love because it means I get to make content about products I actually use with my own son — no pretending required.
Everything I share comes from real experience. That is the only version of this I know how to do.
